We are looking for an experienced mechanic with a Class A or Class B license. We need someone with experience Diagnosing and repairing Volvo tractors. Looking for a mechanic with experience working on class 8 diesel engines and transmissions as well as truck chassis and body components.
Job Location City: Manchester, PA
Full-time: Mon – Fri
Pay: From $28.00 to $32.00 per hour to start
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates must be able to:
- Start time will be 7:00 A.M. – 3:30 P.M. Mon – Fri
- Working knowledge of power units and transmissions
- 1+ years of experience performing maintenance on diesel vehicles necessary OR vehicle maintenance certification from an accredited vocational or trade school OR completion of the FedEx Freight, Inc. Apprentice Program with satisfactory performance
- Experience utilizing Volvo Premium Tech Tool diagnostic software REQUIRED
- Ability to safely operate vehicles equipped with manual and automatic transmission
- Proficiency in maintenance programs and diagnostic systems
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience with Volvos and their software is a plus
- Experience working with DEF systems is a plus
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to pass a Drug Test (Paid by Employer)
- Must be able to work independently and perform work during flexible hours
- Must not have any felonies / violent misdemeanors or drug related misdemeanors in the last 10 years
RATE OF PAY: From $28.00 per hour
